Hitachi Magic Wand Trials Continue

Posted by Staff @ CyDy

lena_hit_wand.highlight.jpgLena works out the with the Hitachi Magic Wand. The Wand is not for everyone. We are in fact trying to plumb the depths of these mysteries right now. We intend to get a wand, an eroscillator, a synergy vibe, and maybe even a pocket rocket and give them a go side-by-side! Look for it next month.

In the meantime, check out Lena. Her vote for the Wand is 5 by 5!

Lipstick Vibrator

reviewed by Penny

Name of Product: Lipstick Vibrator
Product Description: The name is self-explanatory, but it’s a vibrator that looks like a tube of lipstick.
Price (approximate): $20.00-$27.00. (Found on sale for $15!)
Where purchased: Here!

Overall recommendation: smooch!smooch!smooch!smooch!

I’d been wanting one of these purely because they were so cute, but it’s become my favorite toy — after the Hitachi and Eroscillator, of course. While it isn’t my first choice to use during masturbation marathons, I love it as a sex aid. Because it’s cordless, I can grab it and put it straight to use without crawling around on the floor searching for an outlet, my lifted ass sending a false invitation for anal. In addition, because it’s so small, I can just place it against my clit and it doesn’t get in the way during missionary penetration, 69ing, etc.

Name of Product: Lumina Wand
Product Description: Hard, clear pink acrylic dildo: 6.5″x1.25″
Price (approximate): $28.00
Where purchased: Here!

Overall recommendation: smooch!smooch!smooch!smooch!

Lena adds the Lumina Wand to the Pocket Rocket to combine clitoral with intense G-spot stimulation.  The Lumina Wand has a stylish shape that curves for easy G-spotting. Shatterproof and silky smooth, the Lumina’s acrylic warms quickly to the touch. Two knobs at the base make a firm, easy-to-grip handle, or a nice altenate shape to fuck yourself with. Only 1 1/4″ at the widest point, it is not intimidating — just right for those who prefer a moderate toy. Lena certainly likes it. Watch the results!

Hitachi Magic Wand - a new perspective

Posted by Robin

Allow me to introduce you to Chelsea Girl, the the best writer you have never read — and, unless you are in a very select class, the best writer you are ever likely to read. Really. This women can make you wet, make you laugh, make you cry, both filet your heart and heal it, sometimes all at once.

But today, she turns attention to our beloved Hitachi Magic Wand. Hers is a rather different sort of review, but a review it is, and very much worth reading. Of course, everything we’ve read of hers is worth reading… but not in one go. Take her slowly. Writing this rich deserves to be savored.

Acrylic Dildo

carmen2.jpgName of Product: Acrylic Dildo
Product Description: Clear knobbed dildo; part of a set
Price (approximate): [check site]
Where purchased: JT’s Stock Room

Overall recommendation: smooch!smooch!smooch!smooch!

Our second review by Carmen, a sweet natural lady with a very strong sex drive! Carmen tends to prefer hard and ridged dildos to vibes: she likes strong G-spot stimulation and likes an almost rough fucking. The carved Celtic dildo was pretty good for that but didn’t have enough texture for her tastes; this dildo was better. The knobs gave a nice graduated stimulation while massaging her G-spot and the length allowed her to “go deep!” which is another thing she likes. Easy to clean and gare for too, but keep it in the nice cloth bag it came with to prevent marring the acrylic.   (more…)

Eroscillator

reviewed by Penny

Name of Product: Eroscillator
Product Description: Multi-speed vibe with multiple heads; plugs into the wall, no battery back-up.
Price (approximate): $127.95 (basic package)
Where purchased: eroscillator.com

Overall recommendation: smooch!smooch!smooch!smooch!smooch!

Whenever I’m playing and someone busts out the Eroscillator, I can’t help but smile. The hard plastic vibrator looks like what it is: a golden version of the electric toothbrush so many of us learned to masturbate on. In my opinion (and the opinions of most other women I’ve talked to) this toy is second only to the Hitachi Magic Wand — in some ways better.

The small head, which comes with two different attachments (you can buy more, but the two that it comes with are sufficient), allows you to really focus on that special area. In addition, the large, non-vibrating handle gives you an easy grip, but it can be a little cumbersome during penetrative intercourse. This toy is probably best saved for orgasm fests and masturbation-athons.

Speaking of proper use, while the toy can be inserted, I personally don’t find the resulting sensation to be a big deal. The website, http://www.eroscillator.com/, recommends the toy’s internal use, but all you have to do is look at the device to see that it’s purpose in life is to be nestled against your clit. So although I doubt most women have a G-spot low enough to be sufficiently stimulated by the tiny head, insertion is still an interesting experience and worth a try.

If you look at the site, you’ll see that the manufacturers go the distance to prove that their product can hold its own in the bedroom–which is why I was so surprised to find out that Babeland doesn’t carry the Eroscillator due to “quality reasons”. They offer the Synergy instead. While the Synergy is unfavorably compared to the Eroscillator on the Eroscillator website, it’s definitely next on my “To Try” list. The feud must be settled by any means necessary!
