iBuzz Two
The iBuzz Two is an interesting piece of technology in the emerging field of teledildonics. Teledildonics is a term used for sex toys controlled by a computer. The idea isn’t really new, but the toys are getting better and there is more publicity. The iBuzz Two is a set of two bullet vibes that you connect to your iPod or other MP3 player. I use a Zune, and I think it also works with a PSP. You could use it alone without a MP3 player, but then why buy it in the first place?
The iBuzz Two is connected to your MP3 player using the headphone jack, and then two sets of headphones are plugged in the iBuzz Two. There are two bullet vibes on one mini plug, and two phthalate-free jelly toys can be added to the bullets. One is a pink bunny and the other is a blue cock ring, suggesting use by hetero couples. There is an iBuzz that seems to be more geared towards solo use, and I’m tempted to pick up one of those to try.
I have not yet tried this toy with a partner, so my review is based on solo use. I started by plugging in all the cords, which is a bit confusing at first. The instructions on the package are clear and easy to read, so you shouldn’t have a problem getting the toy ready. I turned my MP3 player on and found some music I liked. I’ve never masturbated while wearing headphones and listening to music. I was really surprised how it took me out of my boring bedroom with noise from the street and helped me get into a fantasy mind-set. I didn’t have a sex music playlist prepared so I just put on an internet radio station I had downloaded. I used the rabbit on the bullet that I inserted and the cock ring on the bullet for my clit. The rabbit seemed to dull the vibration too much for me to use it on my clit, but the cock ring has this nice nubby bumpy edge that felt really good on my clit. I found it difficult to get a good grip on the bullets. The cock ring was easier for me to hold because it had a nice big loop to grasp.
The first setting synchronizes the vibration with your music. It doesn’t just pick up on the bass, which is what I expected. It picks up on the beat and rhythm in the vocals and other parts of the music. It felt really good, but in order to get a stronger vibration you have to increase the volume. I didn’t feel comfortable increasing the volume enough to get the strength of vibration I wanted. The next setting gives you different four different pulsing patterns. Those were sort of fun to play with. They seemed to feel in sync with the music, and gave me some variety in the length and strength of the vibrations. It felt really natural and playful. The last setting is just plain vibration that can be adjusted to 11 speeds. I don’t remember which setting I ended up using to get off, but I did get off on this toy.
I’m really excited about the possibility of new computer technologies being used for sex toys. In the end, the iBuzz Two is just a really fancy bullet vibe. The bullets themselves are smaller than bullets on other vibes I’ve used, so it seems necessary to use the rabbit and cock ring. I haven’t tried using the cock ring with a dildo or with a partner. This toy really seems to be geared towards partners and certainly seems to have a bias towards male/female couples. If you are looking for a great toy to share with your partner or if you just want innovative new technology, I’m sure you’ll love the iBuzz Two. I just don’t see myself using it often as a solo toy. I did discover how wonderful it can be to listen to music while masturbating. You might enjoy downloading adult videos to your MP3 player to watch while using the iBuzz Two.
