Even though this jade butt plug encompasses everything that I hate about Coco de Mer (it’s expensive, pretentious, and comes with too many instructions), it is my favorite anal toy ever. It’s even giving the Hitachi Magic Wand a run for its money as my favorite sex toy ever. Of course I’ve tried to find comparable toys at other sites, but it seems that this toy is exclusive to Coco de Mer. Other sites do boast jade toys, but they’re usually of inferior quality and not so beautiful.
The main appeal of the toy is that it makes you feel like an exotic princess. The beautiful, pale jade is not only gorgeous, but of a surprisingly high quality. The end carving, an opening lotus, adds to the delicate flavor of what is in fact a heavy, hardcore toy.
Ignoring the plug’s appeal as an item of jewelry, it’s actually a great little toy. The jade does something that I love in my metal toys: It goes in cold (assuming you aren’t using a condom), drawing your attention to that so intimate area, then warms up to allow you to enjoy yourself. For this reason I like to use lube that’s been in the fridge or minimal lube.
Overall this is a wonderful toy. A medium-sized plug, it doesn’t come with size options, which is always nice in anal toys, but who cares? Did I mention it’s jade?
