The sexiest gift that you can ever give someone is lube. I’m not kidding. No matter what kind of sex you like or what equipment you have in your pants, nothing says “I love you” quite like lube. Toys, gadgets, books, and videos sure are nice, but you still need lube.
There are lots of different types of lube, and so many choices depending on personal preference, type of sex acts, and body chemistry.
First of all I must say that I love Yoni Butter. This is the best feeling lube ever. In addition to working as a lubricant it also will safely absorb into the skin to moisturize your delicate parts. No clean up necessary unless you spread it all over the sheets. It really helps to minimize that “rug burn” feeling after rough sex. It is all natural, herbal with a beeswax base. Smells like flowers! It is probably the best tasting lube ever, and makes a fabulous lip balm if you know what I mean. I’ve used it with toys, latex barriers for safe sex and during anal sex. It all worked well for me, but your mileage may vary. As always, be aware of the risks and always practice safe sex.
Not sure about that “natural” stuff? Try a Lube Sampler. Everyone has different preferences and different bodies, so your needs might be different from mine. Water based lubes are really comfortable, safe to use with latex barriers, and easy to wash. Silicone lubes are also comfortable and safe, but more difficult to wash up. Some people, myself included, find that lubes containing glycerin will sting, so make sure to ask when you have your pre-sex talk about safety. If you tend to be spontaneous with new lovers make sure to have glycerin-free lube on hand with your safe sex supplies just in case.
